Mariana is an Early Childhood Educator and she graduated from Seneca College with honours in 2016. She has over 8 years of experience in education working with ages from infant to school-age children, developing appropriate program planning, and focusing on children’s development, health, and well-being. Mariana has extensive knowledge of How Does Learning Happen, Emergent Curriculum, Alberta FLIGHT Curriculum, and Child Care & Early Years Act, and she is an advocate for the right of educators. She is organized, enthusiastic, creative, flexible, and empathetic. Mariana also has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and additional training in Human Resources, but her real passion is working with children. She considers herself to be a “grown-up child” which facilitates her understanding of children’s needs. When it comes to children, Mariana’s inspiration is the results achieved in children's development by applying a program that inspires and provokes their imagination. She loves baking, biking, reading, music, and NFL, and she is always seeking professional development to provide the best ideas for children to explore.
